About Us
Applied Ballistics is a target shooting facility for avid rifle and/or handgun shooters, located on the south side of Lafayette. We are conveniently located just north of 350S, and just south of Brady Lane, off Concord Rd.
Our indoor range contains state-of-the-art bullet traps and target carrier systems. We also have a two-stage HEPA air filtration system specifically engineered to meet or exceed OSHA standards.
We will offer on-site training classrooms for various disciplines including: basic firearm use, hunter safety, gun safety, CCW, and many more. Classes are expected to begin in early 2010.

Retail Store
Applied Ballistics has a 1,500 square foot retail area to meet the basic needs of our customers during their target shooting opportunity. We sell the basic shooting-related items such as targets, ammunition, eye and ear protection, gun cases, cleaning products, etc.
We will also sell firearms and have the ability to order firearms and accessories (at a discount for our members). Customers will have the ability to buy an optic, have it mounted, and site-in all within one facility. We will also have gun rentals available to our customers for the "try before you buy" opportunity.

75 foot pistol range - 10 pistol lanes with automated target carriers, rated at 2,000 fps
75 foot rifle range - 5 rifle lanes with automated carriers, rated at 3,000 fps
1500 square feet retail area
500 square feet training area
Our Indoor Range is divided into 3 bays of 5 lanes each. Two of the bays, or 10 lanes are dedicated to pistol shooting, while the other bay of 5 lanes is dedicated to rifle and full auto firing.
Our Ventilation System is state of the art for a safe, family oriented shooting experience.
Our Bullet Trap System is a state-of-the-art snail system capturing bullet fragments and lead dust in the circular deceleration chamber where it de-energizes the bullets, allowing them to drop into a container, easily accessible for recycling.
